Senior Citizen Services of Metropolitan Atlanta needs your help in
this year’sSWEEP! Event.
On Saturday, May 3, nearly 200 volunteers will come together to work on the homes of our senior clients. We’ll be making improvements and enhancements that will help keep these seniors in their own homes! This is a focused, high-impact half-day event that starts early and ends with an appreciation party at the Dogwood Neighborhood Senior Center.
No experience is necessary! Home repairs include yard work, raking leaves, cleaning gutters, mowing, trimming hedges, interior painting, exterior painting, installing grab bars, and more.
May is Older Americans month and SWEEP! is the perfect way to participate in this national celebration.
SWEEP! benefits the HOMES (Home Owner Maintenance and Enhancement for Seniors) program of SCS, which helps more than 200 seniors a year stay in their homes.
