Here is an overview of the SCS volunteer opportunities. (Background checks are run for all programs involving contact with our clients.) Meals on Wheels, Atlanta Monday through Saturday - 9am to 1pm, 1 to 4-hour opportunities • Meal Prep (Separating sealed meals into driver's coolers) • Meal Delivery (Following turn-by-turn instructions in Metropolitan Atlanta, Valid GA drivers license and proof of insurance required ) HOMES Every Saturday except holidays - 8am to 1pm, 4-hour projects • Home maintenance and repair projects (simple to intermediate projects) Neighborhood Senior Centers Monday through Friday - 9am to 1pm, 1 to 4-hour opportunities • General Program Assistance - shifts can be arranged to fit your schedule • Computer Instructor Class - schedule can be adjusted to fit your schedule • Ceramics Instructor Class - schedule can be adjusted to fit your schedule CareShare Monday through Sunday - Opportunities vary based on need • General program assistance Adult Day Care Monday through Friday - 8am to 3pm, 1 to 3-hour opportunities • General program assistance - shifts can be arranged to fit your schedule
